REJOICE

We rejoice with the angels over the birth of a new brother. David Bell, a resident of His Way, was baptized Sunday, October 16^th. Please welcome and encourage him.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Ø Randall Biser is in Crestwood Hospital, Room 420. They will be evaluating him today for physical therapy after having a shoulder procedure Tuesday, October 25^th.

Ø Lisa Cooper: “Please pray for Steve Pockrus, who is having an epidural Wednesday (October 26). Please pray that all will go well, and he will get the pain relief he so desperately needs.”

Ø Ed Ditto: “Praise God! Regina Ralston and family are here today (Sunday, October 23^rd). God is working in her.”

Ø Karen Doran: “Please continue to pray for my brother-in-law, Walt, as he is still in ICU. Also, for my sister, Jeanine to have strength through this difficult time. Thank you.” (Update: Walt is still in ICU and is very weak. Notes of encouragement may be sent to Walt and Jeanie Sinquefield, 103 Demetra Drive, Huntsville, AL 35811.)

Ø Cathy Farless: “Pray for Jason Farless, who has COVID.” (Update: Jason is doing well and is back at work.)

Ø Mike Hammond: “Brittany Gibbs and I would like to announce that we recently got married! We would like to ask for prayers as we start our next chapter!”

Ø Tim McKee is now at home (1501 Clinton Avenue, Huntsville, AL 35801) with Hospice Care. Please keep him and Joy in your prayers.

Ø Daniel Moore: “Please pray for the sick guys at His Way. That they will be up and going soon.”

Ø Please keep NoraBelle Reed, mother of Lora Porter, in your prayers. She is in a hospital in Indiana, but doing better. (Update from Lora: “We are taking her home with care 24/7 until she gets her strength back. Our congratulations to Willie and Jill Howell, who are the proud grandparents of a girl. Collins Reece Howell, daughter of Reece and Courtney, was born Monday, October 17, weighing 6 pounds 5 ounces.

Ø The Barrion Palmer Family in the passing of Tina’s father, Rodney Ellis, Thursday, October 20^th. His funeral was Sunday, October 23^rd, in Hartselle, AL.

Ø The Baucum and Coleman Families in the passing of Mike's father/Amanda’s, Adam’s, and Andrew's grandfather, Charles Baucum, Monday night, October 24^th. The funeral will be Friday, October 28^th, at the Hazel Green Funeral Home. Visitation is at 1:00 followed by his funeral at 2:00 p.m. Cards may be sent to Mike's mother, Patty Baucum, 389 Countess Rd, Huntsville, AL 35810.

Ø The family of Tim McKee, who passed away this morning (October 26^th). Visitation will be at Laughlin's Funeral Home Friday, October 28^th, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. followed by his funeral at 1:00.

This year our Trunk or Treat event will be on Monday, October 31^st, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. We will need lots of help with the following:

1. Kitchen Helpers (We are providing hot dogs, chips, cookies, popcorn, and water.)
2. Meeters & Greeters
3. Lots of Candy – Need in case some of our cars run out.
4. Decorated Vehicles (Please note if you are decorating your vehicle, you are also providing candy to give out at your vehicle. You will also need to be here early in order to set up and be ready by 6:00.)

As has been announced the Praise and Harmony Workshop will be January 13-15 at Central. This workshop is for everyone. You do not need to know music theory or be able to read music. The workshop is structured so we can learn songs by listening which is the way most of us learned. Between now and January we need to be preparing for the workshop. Beginning TONIGHT from 6 pm til 7 pm in the Old Auditorium we will begin learning new songs. We would also ask that the LIFE Talks, all various ministries, families and individuals use your time together to for preparation.
